St. John Bosco College was founded on 04th February 1988 at a simple foundation store, laying and blessing ceremony by the late Rt. Rev. Dr. Alan D’Lastic, the then Roman Catholic Bishop of the Diocese of the Diocese of Lucknow.
This institution is an unaided, Roman Catholic run, English medium co-educational day school administered by the St. Don Bosco Educational Society offering premium quality education at an affordable price.
1988 was the death centenary year of the nineteenth century Roman Catholic saint ‘John Bosco’ who was a visionary ahead of his time and a dedicated educationalist. Our institution has been named in memory of his untiring efforts to promote education among the masses. His motto ’Conquer Evil by goodness’ has been adopted by the college. We are recognized by and affiliated to the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examination-New Delhi. Our student are awarded in accordance to their performance ICSE certificates for class X and ISC certificates for class XII in Science and Commerce streams.
We have to our credit the distinction of becoming one of the first functional educational institutions of Gomti Nagar Township, since then we have travelled a long way in educational excellence and premium grooming of our students.
